Introduction
  • Kayachikitsa is a major clinical branch of Ayurveda dealing with internal medicine.
  • The Department is committed to quality education, patient care, research, and innovation.
  • It was established with the vision of integrating classical Ayurveda with modern diagnostic approaches.

To be a center of excellence in Kayachikitsa by delivering quality education, ethical patient care, innovative research, and the promotion of holistic Ayurvedic healthcare.

  • To provide high-standard UG, PG, and Ph.D. education as per NCISM norms.

Seminar and Conference

AYURTECH 2025 (28th & 29th November 2025)

2 days National seminar and workshop was organized by dept. of Kayachikitsa at R A Podar medical college Worli Mumbai 18 on topic ‘Application of AI in Ayurved: Opportunities and roadmap .’

This was recognized by NCISM and MUHS nashik and MCIM. AYURTECH 2025 was first of its kind integration of AI and Ayurveda bridging ancient wisdom with modern technology

The event witnessed active participation from Ayurveda academicians, researchers, healthcare professionals, postgraduate students, and technology experts from across the country.

Regular weekly departmental seminars are organized to enhance the subject knowledge, research aptitude, presentation skills, and confidence of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) students. Clinical Research (Clinical Trials)

The Department of Kayachikitsa conducts various clinical research projects to evaluate the safety and efficacy of Ayurvedic medicines. These studies aim to scientifically validate Ayurvedic treatment modalities and contribute to the development of evidence-based healthcare practices.
