Introduction
The Department of Samhita Siddhant is dedicated to the systematic and in depth study and proper understanding and interpretation of the Ayurved Samhita texts namely Brihat Trayee and their commentaries along with other important Darshana granthas/ texts. The Department is engaged in carrying out quality academic and research work to highlight the practical importance and clinical relevance of Samhita Siddhant in the present era.

- Samhita Siddhanta Department with its experienced and skilled teaching staff imparts comprehensive knowledge of Ayurved Samhita, Padartha Vidnyan, Sanskrit, and Research to undergraduate students.
- The department also provides in-depth knowledge of Ayurved Samhita Siddhant, Research, and Statistics to postgraduate and PhD scholars.
- The department adheres to the academic calendar of the institute and follows the syllabus formulated and approved by NCISM and MUHS, Nashik.
- Postgraduate and PhD scholars carry out quality literary, fundamental, and clinical research in Ayurveda, reflected in their dissertation and thesis work.
- Regular departmental seminars and Samhita Vachan are conducted to enhance the knowledge of postgraduate scholars.
- Activities like Shloka recitation, essay writing, quiz competitions, and debates are organized on occasions such as Charak Jayanti and Sanskrit Diwas.
- The department maintains a well-equipped library with a good collection of books and educational charts related to Sanskrit and Samhita subjects.
