This is a premiere State Government Institute, established in the year 1941 by philanthropist Shri Anandilal Podar and handed over to the erstwhile Government of Bombay. Located in the heart of Mumbai City, the Institute is recognized by the National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine (NCISM) and affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik.
