As Dean of this Institute, I along with my entire team of experienced and well trained teaching faculty, clinicians and supportive college and hospital staff are striving to impart quality education in Ayurveda to Undergraduate, Post graduate and PhD students and render quality Ayurved healthcare services to the public.

The rapid urbanization has significantly altered the diet and lifestyle patterns of people resulting in a rise in incidence of non-communicable, lifestyle related disorders like Diabetes, Obesity, Hypertension, Cardiac diseases, metabolic disorders and immunological disorders.

Ayurved, with its holistic approach to health promotion and disease prevention and management, offers a ray of hope to the entire humanity.

M. A. Podar Hospital is a 224 bedded Ayurved Hospital, with a daily OPD of around 600 to 800 patients and has well equipped IPD, Operation Theatre and Diagnostic facilities. The Hospital specializes in Panchakarma and Ksharsutra treatments. The hospital’s unique attraction is the Special Panchkarma Center, which has gained an international repute.

The Institute of Contemporary Ayurved Research and Education (I-CARE) has also been established with an aim to promote Ayurveda Education, Research and practice.
