On the occasion of the commencement of ‘Vasant Panchami’ on 28th March 2028, Dravyaguna Department conducted a tree planting program by planting medicinal plants in the herbal garden of R.A. Podar Medical College (Ayu), Worli, Mumbai.

Dean, Dr. Sampada Sant Madam told the importance of planting trees, her experience of living in Nanded in tree conservation and appealed to the audience to take care of the trees. Also, Mr. Ibrahim Sir took information about the trees, their medicinal uses and also showed his readiness to provide the necessary cooperation to make such programs more frequent in the future. On this occasion, Dravyaguna Department faculty, Vaidya Seema Atram, HOD, Dravyaguna Department, Vaidya Bipin Dhalpe, Vaidya Bhavesh Patil and Vaidya Santosh Kadam were present. Also, Vaidya Pragya Kapse, Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, was also present at this place and cooperated in planting trees.
