new Ayurveda medical colleges in peripheral areas, modernization of existing
institutions, efforts in the improvement of professional skills is the
major achievements so far. The state has potentialities to provide the
the best kind of Ayurveda services through these institutions for the
people.
Directorate of Ayurveda which is being headed by the Director of Ayurveda
is responsible for Ayurvedic Medical Education, Health care & research
in the field of Ayurveda,cultivation and promotion of the Medicinal Plants
and regulation of the practice of Ayurveda
These aims are achieved by the department through following authorities.
